Whether it is a academic trip, a school getaway, or a beginner’s journey into the fascinating world of birds, it is our team the core of the expertise and the joy we deliver to all our clients.

Jonathan Pérez

From an early age I decided to train in tourism management, which I did for over six years, providing foreign customers with a high-level service that meets international standards and English language needs.

20 years later, I am Member of the Ornithological Association of Costa Rica and the Association of Guides of the Central Pacific.

My education includes safety certifications in activities involving cables and ropes by the Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje. I have also been fully trained in Natural History of Costa Rica, Ethics applied to tourism activities, geography, and customer service in the tourism industry, among others.

It will be my pleasure to take you on a unforgettable journey around this tiny and yet diversity -rich country where some of the most exotic and beautiful bird species can be spotted easily in their beautiful habitat.

Randy Alvarado

Randy grew up in Sarapiquí where he studied Eco-Tourism in high school. He comes from a family of conservationists and was inspired to become a naturalist guide by his uncles who are also bird lovers since the 90’s. He has worked with different natural reserves and travel companies from around Sarapiquí and Costa Rica area as a freelance guide. Randy seeks to raise awareness about the role of tropical rain forests and how important conservation is. He considers Costa Rica as one of the most strategic countries to take care of due to its biodiversity. His passion for wildlife, specially birds, is evident on every tour he guides.

Tayron Vargas

He was born in Golfito, near Puerto Jiménez in the Osa Peninsula. In this place he developed his love for birds as it hosts the Corcovado National Park, the most bio-diverse place in the entire country.

After finishing high-school, he chose the path of being a tour guide and, after completing his education, he obtained his official certification. So far Tayron has also taken part in different bird counts and population censuses of species such as the Scarlet Macaw.

He is also been in charge of monitoring artificial nests of Ara Macao. Tayron conducts a variety of one day tours, from soothing walks into the forest to volcano expeditions, all while focusing on the natural history of each site.
